A date with Peter Saville

Last night we all head up to the Tolbooth in Stirling to see the legendary Peter Saville give a talk about his life in design, factory records and his appointment as Creative Director of the City of Manchester.

Peter Saville

It was a great night, and really informative. It's interesting to see the methods used and problems that guys like Saville encountered throughout his career, from 'debates' with record company execs, through to his love of art history.

We got a piccy and he even signed one of our brochures…

New customised trainers/sneaker/kicks/whatever

We did these for a new project we can't really talk too much about yet.
It was fun and these are just our first attempt at breaking out the pens and drawing straight onto shoes, but there will be more to come soon.

Updates to our shop…

The shop over at our website is starting to get a bit busier these days.

We've got an ever expanding range of tshirts to stop you being naked, some pin badges to prick yourselves with, wallets to hold your cash, and loveliness to put on your walls.

We'll love you long time if you take a look.

SXSW Poster for Flatstock

We were asked by the Scottish Arts Council to come up with a 2 colour American gig-style poster for exhibition at the Flatstock event to be held at this year's SXSW Music Festival.

The poster was printed and displayed, now all we need is a copy for our walls and we'll be ready to rock…

Vormator

We have been asked to contribute to the forthcoming 'Vormator Project', a book to be published towards the end of the year featuring prominent designers from around the world. The project's purpose is to see what art different designers would create using eight basic shapes - nothing free drawn.

With contributions coming from some of the top names in international design, it's a great buzz to be placed in such great company.

Doug's Trolley Dash.

Doug finally finished a tough job and couldn't contain himself… in his trousers.

I was slightly disturbed to swing round and see him with his trolleys round his ankles. Let's hope it was a one-off eh?

Poor sod...

How do I get to the beauty salon? Right turn Clyde.

Angie just got her lips waxed.

Imagine a cross between Jagger and Clyde from 'Every Which Way But Loose".
